Packers vs. Falcons 2016 live stream: Start time, TV schedule and how to watch online

Going by last season, the Green Bay Packers were expected to be among the top teams in the league this year, while the Atlanta Falcons should have been among the worst. That can still play out over the next several weeks of play, of course, but through seven weeks of the season, the Packers have barely fared better, sitting at 4-2 while Atlanta holds a 4-3 record.

How to Watch Packers vs. Falcons on Sunday
Time: 4:25 p.m. ET

Location: Georgia Dome, Atlanta, Ga.

TV: FOX

Live Stream: Watch NFL HD Stream Here

On Sunday, Atlanta will try and halt a losing skid when they host the Packers, who broke a skid of their own in their last outing. The game will be broadcast on FOX, with kickoff set for 4:25 p.m. ET and a live stream online available via FOX Sports GO.

The Falcons bested both the Carolina Panthers and Denver Broncos in back-to-back games, beating both of last season’s Super Bowl teams. But since then, they have suffered two very tough losses. The first was a narrow two-point loss to the Seattle Seahawks. The most recent was a hard-to-swallow overtime defeat at the hands of the San Diego Chargers, a team just about everyone expected would lose the game.

While the Falcons missed many opportunities to put the game away before overtime, the blame for the loss can be placed on head coach Dan Quinn. That’s because Quinn decided to go for it on fourth down on Atlanta’s side of the field in overtime. The Chargers barely needed to move the ball after that failed attempt, kicked a field goal, and won the game.

Atlanta is the favorite in the NFC South due to the Panthers collapsing, the New Orleans Saints completely lacking a defense and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers still being a little too young and raw to really consistently win games. But then again, the Buccaneers aren’t that far back and even the one-win Panthers aren’t technically out of it.

The Falcons need to halt their losing streak sooner rather than later, and they need to do it against a Packers team that has surprisingly struggled on the offensive side of the ball.

Green Bay has only lost two games this season, but Aaron Rodgers was actually the source of their struggles over the first few weeks of the season. Rodgers hasn’t thrown for nearly as many yards as usual, averaging just 239.3 yards per game, which is definitely low for him. But he did get things back on track in the team’s last game, and as it turns out all he needed was to beat down the rival Chicago Bears to do so.

After throwing three touchdowns against three interceptions in his previous two games, Rodgers threw for 326 yards and three touchdowns with no interceptions while completing 69.6 percent of his passes against the Bears.

Rodgers and Matt Ryan are two of the best quarterbacks in the game, and like many Green Bay and Atlanta games this year, this one could easily be a high-level quarterback duel culminating in a shootout.

How to watch, live stream Cowboys vs. Packers: Time, TV channel, odds, predictions

We all know how the last game between the Green Bay Packers and Dallas Cowboys at Lambeau Field ended. There’s no need to re-hash Dez Bryant ‘s overturned catch, especially because there is so much new to talk about with these Cowboys.

Packers Game

Ezekiel Elliott is off to a record-setting start, leading the NFL in rushing through five weeks after becoming the first Cowboys rookie to run for 100-plus yards in three straight games and the third rookie ever to run for 130-plus yards in three straight games. The offensive line is mauling everyone in sight to clear the way for Zeke and give fellow rookie sensation Dak Prescott time to scan the field and find open receivers — whether Bryant has been on the field or not (he’s sat the last two games with a hairline fracture in his knee).
The Packers enter this game at 3-1, a half-game behind Dallas by virtue of having already taken their bye, but with the exception of a blistering performance against the Detroit Lions , the Green Bay offense has not hummed at its usual efficiency.
Aaron Rodgers has a career-low 56.1 completion percentage and is averaging only 6.3 yards per attempt. His biggest issue has been passing under pressure. Per Pro Football Focus, Rodgers has completed only nine of 32 passes when pressured this season, for 134 yards, a touchdown and an interception. From a clean pocket, he’s 69 of 107 for 742 yards, eight touchdowns, and two picks. Luckily for the Packers, they’re going up against a Cowboys defense that has pressured the quarterback on only 27.6 percent of dropbacks this season, the fifth-lowest mark in the NFL.
Can the Cowboys run against the stout Green Bay defense? Can the Packers keep Rodgers’ pocket clean so he can attempt to pick apart what has been a surprisingly effective Dallas secondary? We’ll find out on Sunday.

This is a big road test for Dak Prescott. With all the talk that he might need to stay on as the starter when Tony Romo returns, this will be telling. The Packers still haven’t looked themselves on offense, but I think they will find a way to slow Dallas here. Aaron Rodgers and the Packers take it.

Lions vs Packers 2016 live stream: Time, TV schedule, and how to watch online

After two weeks, Green Bay hasn’t found a way to get its offense in gear, even with Jordy Nelson back in the lineup. Detroit is hoping the Packers remain stuck in neutral when the Lions head west to Lambeau Field for a NFC North showdown on Sunday afternoon.

Packers Game

How to Watch Detroit Lions vs. Green Bay Packers
When: 1 p.m. ET

Where: Lambeau Field, Green Bay, Wisc.

TV: FOX

Live Stream: Watch HD Stream Here

Announcers: Kevin Burkhardt, John Lynch, and Pam Oliver

The Packers and Lions will square off in a game with big divisional implications. You can catch this game online using Fox Sports’ live streaming website. Verizon customers can also access the game on mobile devices via the NFL’s official app.

For Green Bay, Week 3’s game represents another opportunity to get its underwhelming offense off the ground. The Packers were held to just 263 total yards in an upset loss to Minnesota last week. Aaron Rodgers fumbled three times, and his typically high-powered offense was limited to only 14 points.

The loss was a step back from the team’s performance in its season opener, but not by much. The Pack were outgained 348-294 before squeaking out a 27-23 victory over a Jacksonville team that was then routed by the San Diego Chargers in Week 2. Through two games, Rodgers is averaging only 206 passing yards per contest.

Fortunately for Green Bay, a banged-up Lions defense could be just the panacea its impotent offense needs.

The Lions will have to hope their players stay on the field after injuries tore through Detroit’s starting lineup in Week 2. Six different starters were shaken up in last week’s loss to the Tennessee Titans. Four — running back Ameer Abdullah (foot), defensive end Ziggy Ansah (ankle), and linebackers Kyle Van Noy (calf) and Antwione Williams (thigh) — failed to return to the game; Abdullah was later placed on injured reserve.

Tight end Eric Ebron and tackle Riley Reiff also missed time due to ailments. Detroit was also without former All-Pro linebacker DeAndre Levy, who may be out for the season with a quadriceps injury.

Jim Caldwell was tight-lipped when it came to his players’ health (“I don’t talk about injuries,” the Lions’ coach told the press after the game), but it’s clear his team will have to deal with more disadvantages than just the Green Bay crowd in the team’s 2016 home opener.

Detroit has seen this NFC North rivalry swing in its favor in recent years. After losing all but three of the 26 meetings between these teams from December 2000 to October 2013, the Lions have won three of their last five games against the Packers — including a win in their last trip to Lambeau Field. Sunday’s game will give them the opportunity to turn that outlier into a streak, as well as erase an embarrassing result from the last time these teams met.

Detroit, leading 23-21, was somehow unprepared for the deep pass as Rodgers lined up behind center at his own 39-yard line for an untimed down at the game’s end due to a phantom facemask penalty. Richard Rodgers drifted into the end zone, uncovered, as the former MVP uncorked a rocket that found his tight end’s hands and delivered a 27-23 road win in Motor City. The ensuing win probability chart looked like a stock market relic from October 29, 1929.

The Lions probably recoiled when they found out the same official who threw the flag for that facemask penalty will be officiating this Sunday’s game, but this time, they’re hoping for a much different ending.

Packers at Chiefs live stream: How to watch

The Green Bay Packers are back at full health and are ready to take back the NFC North. The Kansas City Chiefs feel like they’re ready to take over the AFC West. Both teams have a strong shot to do so and will look to figure out the last few spots on their roster on Thursday night, when they meet in a preseason battle.

Packers Game

For those that want to watch the Packers and Chiefs, the game can be seen online via a live stream. The live stream is NFL Game Pass and is available to all subscribers. Here’s everything you need to know about watching the Packers and Chiefs online. Details for Thursday are below.

Date: Thursday, September 1, 2016
Start Time: 8:00 p.m. ET
Location: Kansas City, MO
Venue: Arrowhead Stadium
Live Stream: Watch NFL HD Stream Here

The Chiefs have looked dominant in their recent preseason games. Their defense looks like one of the best in the league and they’ll have a good test against Green Bay. It’s unlikely any starters play, but it will be intense on the field for the players that are trying to make the roster for both teams.

After the game is complete, the two teams will then cut their roster down to 53 players. With the depth on both rosters, it’s going to be hard to make either team.

Packers vs 49ers: Start Time, TV Channels, Live Stream Info

The Green Bay Packers may get to see quarterback Aaron Rodgers under center for the first time this year and the San Francisco 49ers could finally see Colin Kaepernick enter their starting quarterback battle as the two sides clash in Week 3’s preseason game Friday night at Levi’s Stadium.

Packers Game

Packers head coach Mike McCarthy has kept Rodgers on the sidelines during the two previous preseason victories (both by at least a touchdown over Cleveland and Oakland) with second-year quarterback Brett Hundley and rookies Joe Callahan and Marquise Williams splitting snaps.

➡ Click Here to Watch Packers vs 49ers Live Stream Online

But with Hundley listed as out due to an ankle injury and the importance of the preseason’s third contest, Rodgers is likely to handle a series or two in order to build some rapport with the offense before the regular season opener at Jacksonville on Sept. 11.

Green Bay’s also dealing with several other injuries on both sides of the ball, but each should allow younger players a holding out hope for a roster spot more time on the field. Safety Morgan Burnett, offensive linemen Josh Walker and Jacob Flores, and wide receiver Jeff Janis are all expected to sit against San Francisco.

Wide receiver Jordy Nelson, who’s missed all of 2015 with a torn ACL suffered during the preseason, is questionable with a knee injury as well.
Burnett’s absence could help rookies Marwin Evans and Kentrell Brice. Coming out of Louisiana Tech as an undrafted free agent, Brice has led the Packers with nine tackles in the preseason and Evans is tied for fourth on the team with five total tackles as Green Bay perhaps looks for more depth behind starters Burnett and Ha Ha Clinton-Dix.

Kaepernick was suffering from a “dead arm” as early as last week, but leading up to the showdown with the Packers he and Blaine Gabbert have split reps in practice this week. On Wednesday, first-year head coach Chip Kelly said he had yet to decide who will start against Green Bay.

“We haven’t discussed it, yet,” Kelly said to CSN Bay Area. “We got two days of training to go through. We’ll see. (Kaepernick is) on track. We’re excited and we’re hopeful he will be ready to go. But I’m not going to put the cart before the horse. We have a system. When we get to Friday, we’ll know exactly from (head athletic trainer Jeff Ferguson) who’s up and who’s down.”

Gabbert’s currently first on the depth chart and has completed 10 of his 19 passes for 132 yards and a touchdown, but Kaepernick thinks he can reclaim the job that was his for the last three and a half seasons.

“I’m going to go out and show everything I can these next two games,” Kaepernick said, “and make sure I put my best foot forward to show this organization, this team, this coaching staff, what I’m capable of.”

Meanwhile, San Francisco will continue to see who can claim inside linebacker duties next to All-Pro NaVorro Bowman. It’s currently a three-way race between Michael Wilhoite, Ray-Ray Armstrong, and Gerald Hodges. From a statistical perspective, Wilhoite has the edge with seven total tackles in two games and he’s currently first on the depth chart.

Kickoff: 10 p.m. ET but NFL Network will cut into the game starting at 11 p.m. ET

TV Channels: WGBA-NBC 26 (Green Bay); KPIX-CBS 5 (San Francisco); NFL Network

Raiders at Packers live stream: How to watch

The Oakland Raiders believe they are going to be a good team this year. Head coach Jack Del Rio constantly reminds his team that they will be and they looked the part in their first preseason games. Finally loaded with talent across the board at all levels, the Raiders have a chance to take over the AFC West if players can step up enough this season. The signs are there and they feel they can be even better than good. On Thursday night, they will get a good test against the Green Bay Packers.

Packers Game

Date: Thursday, August 18, 2016

Location: Green Bay, WI
Venue: Lambeau Field

For those fans of the two history-laden franchises that want to watch the game online, it can be seen via a live stream. That means logging onto NFL Game Pass with your subscription to watch the game. Here’s everything you need to know about watching the Raiders and Packers. Details for Thursday are below.

After suffering through multiple injuries last season, the Packers are just hoping to get through the game without injuries. It will be reps for the starters that are just getting ready to get tuned up for the regular season. The bottom of the roster will be fighting for their jobs.

It will be interesting to watch the dynamic between these two teams. The Raiders really let their starters get a decent amount of reps in their first preseason game, so they should see plenty of action in this one as well.

Packers vs Colts 2016 live stream: How to watch the Hall of Fame Game online

The NFL returns Sunday night with the Hall of Fame Game featuring the Green Bay Packers and the Indianapolis Colts. If you’re not one of the lucky people traveling to Canton, Ohio to welcome the 2016 preseason, you can stream the game via WatchESPN on your computer, or you can enjoy it using the WatchESPN app on your mobile device.

Packers Game

While teams are generally wary of giving starters too much playing time in preseason action because of the need to avoid injuries in meaningless games, Colts head coach Chuck Pagano has said that he will play all of his starters, including quarterback Andrew Luck. Pagano still left a little room to change his mind about that, though.

➡ Click here to Watch Hall of Fame Game online  Packers Game Live Stream

Perhaps this will give the Colts a competitive advantage, considering that Andrew Luck likes to win. As a matter of fact, he recently told The MMQB that his favorite word is “win.”

After inking a new deal with the Colts that made him the highest-paid quarterback in the league, Indianapolis is surely hoping that Sunday’s game is the start of a comeback season for Luck.

The team will, however, be without first-round draft pick Ryan Kelly. Pagano ruled out the rookie center due to a shoulder strain.

For the Packers, Aaron Rodgers is unlikely to take the field on Sunday after being held out of Thursday’s practice. Green Bay’s backup, Brett Hundley, also missed Thursday’s practice with an ankle injury, so the Packers may be facing off with the Colts’ starters with either Joe Callahan or Marquise Williams — both of whom are undrafted free agent rookies — under center.

Rodgers was given the night off from practice to rest, and not because of any type of injury, meaning he could play if the Packers so choose. Rodgers doesn’t typically see a great deal of preseason action, so it won’t be surprising if Green Bay opts to keep him sidelined.

If the Packers get desperate, perhaps Brett Favre could pull the Packers jersey (not the Vikings one, obviously) from his locker in the Hall of Fame and suit up for Green Bay. Fans surely wouldn’t mind getting one more glimpse of the ol’ gunslinger following his induction into the Hall of Fame Saturday evening.

A few facts about Sunday’s game:

This will mark the first occasion the new Monday Night Football announcing team will call a game together. Jon Gruden and sideline reporter Lisa Salters will welcome Sean McDonough as the play-by-play guy.
Both teams have representatives being inducted into the Hall of Fame on Saturday. For the Packers, it’s Favre. The Colts will see former head coach Tony Dungy and wide receiver Marvin Harrison honored Saturday evening.
It is the fifth Hall of Fame game appearance for each team. The Colts are 2-2 all time, and the Packers are 1-2-1.
Green Bay’s singular tie in the Hall of Fame game came against the San Diego Chargers in 1980, and neither team scored. The game was tied 0-0 with about six minutes remaining when referees called the game due to inclement weather.
